Babysitting

I babysat a 4-year-old named Peyton. He was really funny. We went outside a lot and pretended to ride the lawnmower. He would go through all the shifts and then he would pretend to drive. He'd go "vroom vroom". It was hilarious! After we came in a read him a book. Full of like 10 bedtime stories. Then we went inside and he had me pour him a full glass of milk and he only drank 2 sips. Then we made pudding. While we were waiting for the pudding we played with cars. Finally it was done. I fed him 2 bowls full of pudding. Then some more lawnmower fun. Then we went inside and played with his ball. When I accidentally scared him, he screamed so loud! Next we played with the kitty and read some more books. Then played with the kitty. Then just as I was starting the next book his parents walked in. She drove me home and I got paid $20. It was a fun time.

Girls Camp At West Piney

It was stake girls camp this year. It was awesome. It was at West Piney. It was my first year and it was so much fun. I wasn't so crazy about the first day though. It rained then hailed then rained then hailed some more. But between all the rain and hail, all of the girls were having fun on the slide. Except Shaina, who sprained her ankle. But she was still a good sport the rest of the week.
On Wednesday, we had fun. It wasn't at all like the day before. It was way better. Lots and lots of sun! It was beautiful. It was a much better day for sliding. On this day Brother and Sister Mikesell came. We had awesome tinfoil dinners that night. After they left Brother Miller and Chase came. But it was too late to start a water fight. We went "snipe hunting''. It was just a big waste of time.
On Thursday morning we all went on our hikes. Us first years only had to go 3 miles. So once we got to the 1 1/2 mile mark about 20 of the girls turned around. But the last 10 or so girls, including me, went an extra mile or so. So I guess you could say we went about 4 or more miles. While we were all on our hikes the Millers left. I think they were going to Wyoming. Then Bishop Twiggs and sister Twiggs came. But later that day we had the Olympics. Anna and I thought we were playing Ping Pong but they changed it to Round Robin. So we didn't win that one. But Kara, Ally, Jessica, and I were in the uphill race. Kara started from the parking lot, up the hill, then tagged me. Then I ran around the corner up the hill and tagged Ally. then she ran up the hill and turned another corner and tagged Jessica. Then Jessica and Ally turned around and went down the hill and tagged me. Then Jessica, Ally , and me ran down the hill and tagged Kara. Then we all ran down the hill and crossed together. Even though we were 2nd to last, since we crossed as a group we got 2nd place. Our ward won Swedish Fish, because we had cleanest camp and nothing smelled fishy. That night Sister Montano, Sister Bruderer, Sister Beck, and Sister Bullock came. That night we had our testimony meeting and roasted marshmallows.
Then on Friday morning after everything was all packed and nothing was left in our site we went home. I rode in the truck with mom and dad. It was better than the bus. We stopped off for square ice cream and made it home in no time. It was the best girls camp!
