All I want for Christmas is yoouuuuu!

We had our end of the semester Christmas social! Let's just say, we were the only family home evening group that actually came up with an actual lip sync dance! I will miss this..

For the stake talent show, I convinced my roommate Amandee to do ribbon dancing (like Marisa did her freshman year at college..)

We stayed up until a wonderful 3:30 am the night before creating the dance. (I also had to edit the music)

We performed it and everyone LOVED it! It was so fun! I loved doing it!

Meet my roommates!

We went exploring last Sunday after church and found a place outside of Rexburg called Beaver Dick Park. So this Sunday we got all dolled up and had a photo shoot. If we were thinking straightly, we would have done this later in the semester when, ya know, we all knew each other and were friends ;)

First day of college..

Well today was quite the day.

Woke up, pretty scared really. I was a hardcore freshman: following a map, wandering aimlessly, asking Chinese people for help. I had 4 classes: computer programming, tap dance, English, and accounting. Busy, l o n g day. I was happy to come home and take a nap!

That's when my roommate got back and walked in saying, "Are you seriously in bed?" Ouch. First day and that was sure a dagger to the heart! Hard day.

At least someone else knew how I felt, my other freshman roommate Kelly.

I know it will get better. I mean, It's only the first day of school. It's been a bad day, so it can only go uphill from here!

Here's to a wonderful semester ahead..

Goodbye..

Today I left for college. It was the weirdest day of my life. Mom and dad got me all moved in and I was holding back tears the whole time. I just felt numb.

I remember finally saying goodbye, hugging, taking pictures, then going to my room and sitting on my bed. I peeked out the window as the tears ran down my face.
(I mean, look at me. Do I look happy??)



After laying on my bed crying for a few minutes, mom called and asked if I needed any groceries. So she came back and we went to the store. Trying to act strong, like this wasn't phasing me.

Then she said bye again, and the pain came all over again. But they were gone for real now.

My family was only an hour away, my brother lived a mile away, but my heart was in so much pain.

I had one other freshman roommate, and we were the ones in our rooms, under the covers, crying. haha

There goes my best friend..

My best friend, Spencer Harrah, left for the Chile Santiago West Mission today. He is currently flying to the Chile MTC. 

I tried to be REALLY strong at the Pocatello airport for his family, who were all in tears. I tried to be strong..



When he finally boarded the plane and left, it still felt unreal. I went with his family to Apple Bee's. It was fun and pretty good. I just felt like we were all avoiding the fact that we wouldn't see Spencer for 2 years.

I drove his grandma and sister home and kept strong.

I got home and went into my room..and wasn't so strong anymore.

You can usually tell my mood by my smile. Well this is as fake as it comes, folks!



Still surreal. I mean, we're being punk'd, right? He'll be home soon...right?

As we go on, we'll remember all the times we had together.

 I graduated from Blackfoot High School!

Such a surreal feeling.

1. It is NOT as studious as they make it seem. There were kids on phones, singing, talking, throwing paper airplanes, etc.

2. I wish I would have done something funny like made the stage a runway when I went to get my diploma because just walking across was lame looking back on it now.

3. The all night party made me r e a l l y tired. Plus, I was one of like 4 students who didn't win a freaking prize.

I will miss the friend part of high school, seeing friends and teachers I like, but I am ready for a whole new experience and more learning in college!!

SENIOR PROM : BEST NIGHT E V E R

Woke up early and went to Spencer's rugby game in Pocatello while the rest of our group had breakfast! Then we went to Blackfoot, changed, and met up with them. We had a wonderful picnic at the lava rocks then played football on the field!

The group split. Half of them went to watch a movie in Idaho Falls, and my half went to Orange Leaf in Idaho Falls! Such a better choice. Yum!

Then we drove back and got ready for the night of all nights.

Spencer picked me up and I got to wear my favorite dress. If I had the choice, I would never take off this dress!

Then we went to the dance and had a marvelous time with everyone! My first/last Blackfoot prom. Best night ever.

Sweetheart's Dance

We left early in the morning and drove to Lava Hot Springs! We stopped at some Thai food place (oh my gross) Then we went to the hot springs! It was pretty fun, but I felt weird because before I left my parents told me they'd be watching me on the webcams...so that ruined that. 

We had a nice time. Everyone was going under and trying to get me to, but um, I am not going to rewash my hair. I do not have time for that! 

We got home and were getting all ready! 

I LOVED this dress. (even if I look super pale) 

           

We went to Stockman's Steak House and really just had a great time. I loved it. I loved everyone in my group: Elisabeth and Jake, Tiffany and Wyatt, Emily and Aaron, and Spencer and me :) 

We went to the dance, they only let Wyatt in to take pictures then he had to leave since he was graduated. We had a fun time at the dance, then went to Walmart to rent a movie! 

Then we went to Emily's neighbor Meg's clubhouse to watch a movie. On the way there, Tiffany called and said Wyatt and her were stuck in mud! haha So Spencer and I to the rescue! I felt SO BAD that the boys were getting all muddy, good thing I had a random roll of paper towels in the trunk! hahaha

We watched the movie, then headed home! 

It was a great night :) I love dances!
