Homecoming week!

Part of Homecoming week was Duck Dynasty Day! Basically the only people who dressed up were members of the Future Farmers of America and Student Council. haha

Played a lil Powderpuff, and am please to announce that the class of 2014 is leaving UNDEFEATED. We beat the seniors last year and the juniors this year. Can't stop us!

Last time being a coach for the powderpuff cheerleaders! They did really good! :)

On Saturday I had a busy day of marching band in Orem, Utah!

Mom and dad picked me up and I did my makeup on the road. haha Then we pulled in, I hurried and curled my hair, and my date Spencer Harrah picked me up!

We met up with Meghan Hintze and Aaron Carter at Tommy Vaughn's, then met up with the rest of the group at the high school!

It was a very fun day, despite driving 8 hours ;)

Best Prom story EVER

I was asked by Jerem Wilcock to go to Century's Prom! Hey, I'm all in!

We went a zoo in Pocatello, in the rain. Which I think made it even more fun! Then we went to Subway (haha)

I went to one of the girl's houses in Pocatello with my dress and everything! We got ready (which was a lil awkward since I wasn't in the comfort of my own home..)

But I think we all looked great :)

Prom was really fun! It was nice to not know anyone! ;) haha

Then we went back to the girl's house to watch a movie (it is now around 10 pm)

Movie ended and I totally thought we were going to leave, and they put in another movie! AHH It's like 12:30 am and I am 20 minutes away from home!

So I tell Jerem and Cason (the 2 boys from Blackfoot) that I REALLY have to go ASAP. Catch 22. We drove here with the boy from Pocatello. After long deliberating, the boy agreed to let Jerem and Cason borrow his car to take me home! haha

So we are leaving Pocatello at 2 am.

We listen to a Christian rock radio station so Jerem can stay awake (hahahaha!!) and we pull into Blackfoot-whew! We made it!

We stop at a stoplight and.. get pulled over.

Jerem pulls into the Potato Museum parking lot (2:20 am) and 2 cops approach. Cason is asleep in the backseat completely missing this whole thing! haha

The cops asks for both of our licenses! (THANK HEAVENS mom made me bring it!)

He asks Jerem to pop the trunk and stay in the car.

Then they ask for me to get out of the car..

Jerem gets a lil freaked out and starts getting out and the cops yell "STAY IN THE CAR" hahahahha So he gets back in!

Pointing to my dress bag one cop says, "Would you please tell me what that is." I, trying REALLY HARD not to laugh say that it is my Prom dress because we just got back from Century's Prom. They totally thought I was lying and made me unzip the bag saying they thought it contained a body!!! hahahahahahah

Then they let me come back and we explained that we were really almost home and then they asked if Cason, passed out in the back, is drunk.. "Oh.. no sir.. it's just TWO AM."

We finally drive off and are laughing hysterically! hahahha

Cason wakes up and says "Hey, where are we?"

Jerem dropped me off at 2:40 am and it was the best night ever!

Distinguished Young Woman

Tonight went by way too fast!

My talent was singing You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. I was dressed as a girl in the marching band when I walked out...then halfway through, ripped it all off to be wearing a sparkly gold dress! It was really really fun! But I don't think I could ever watch the video of myself singing! haha

It was a really fun night, and I went home with the spirit award! I mean, if that doesn't describe me perfectly, I don't know what does!!

It was an amazingly fun and I will never forget it!! :)

Every morning we were supposed to say,
"I'm so excited, I just can't stand it! I can't wait for tomorrow because I get better looking every day!"

When staying home sick pays off

I went to EFY last year in Rexburg and it was fun, met a lot of Canadians, but I wanted to see what the big hubbub with Provo was. So I got my "priority registration" number and was set to enroll before the public. But of course, the dates on my registration were wrong. So it had ended by the time I checked.
I went on yesterday and realized that public registration started today for non-Provo and tomorrow for Provo.
I'm lying on the couch watching Criminal Minds when I feel like I should go check the EFY dates. After signing on, finding the registration page I notice that Provo did indeed open today. The only times left were when I was still in school, or there was ONE spot left on July 22.
I hurry and add it to cart, accept terms, "Yes, I'll dress modestly." And call my mom to get a credit card number. When hey, look at that. The page timed out.
I call the help center for BYU but all lines are busy...So I refresh the page. Cough. Call my mom. Sign out. And there it is. I type as fast as I can (which is pretty fast, if I do say so myself) and I GOT IT! The last decent open spot for EFY in Provo!

So glad I'm home sick.
